On behalf of the ICMOVPE XXII Organizing Committee, I am pleased to welcome you to the 22nd International Conference on Metal Organic Vapor Phase Epitaxy (ICMOVPE XXII). The conference will be held July 12–17, 2026, at the International Convention Center Jeju (ICC JEJU) on Jeju Island, Korea.

Since the conference was first initiated in 1981 in Ajaccio, France, it has matured into a premier global forum where researchers and experts share insights, present cutting-edge research, and explore innovative concepts in both the fundamental and applied aspects of MOVPE. Held on a biennial rotation among the USA, Asia, and Europe, ICMOVPE continues to play a pivotal role in advancing the science and technology of epitaxy.

Having successfully hosted ICMOVPE-XVI in 2012 in Busan, we are honored to welcome the conference back—this time on the scenic island of Jeju in 2026. We hope to create an inspiring atmosphere for scientific exchange, collaboration, and the pursuit of new discoveries.

We are pleased to present a comprehensive program that covers a broad spectrum of topics, including Growth Studies, III–V Materials, Oxides and Dielectrics, Atomic Layer Deposition, Etching, and related fields. ICMOVPE XXII will feature the traditional plenary and invited talks, oral and poster sessions, rump sessions, and industrial exhibitions, complemented by social events infused with Korean culture and hospitality.

We believe that ICMOVPE XXII will serve as a dynamic platform that brings together researchers, engineers, and professionals from industry, academia, and national laboratories around the world. The conference will offer a vibrant environment to showcase the latest achievements, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations in MOVPE and related epitaxial growth technologies.
